Counseling

As one of the objectives of NiaCCFD is provision of psychosocial support to help individuals resolve personal and psychological problems as well as enhance their personal development, counseling is provided to the following groups:

  • Families to enhance harmony, resolve conflicts and communication problems and tackle other issues;
  •  Adolescents with the aim of assisting them transit to the safer shore of grownups and provision of guidance to resolve various personal issues;
  • Couples:

                     o Pre-marital counseling to inform couples, among others, about marital expectations, communication, and conflict resolution.
                     o Marriage counseling to guide couples through problem solving; acquisition of skills to handle differences; keep out negative emotions, and gain insight into sources of problems.

  • Any other individuals who need the service.
